I remember the old school dating sites of the 90s. I’m my opinion, meeting people on the old dating sites was simple. The dating sites of today have to many fake profiles and to many steps to set-up your profile. Back in the day, there where no chemistry or personality compatibility sections to fill out, you would tell a little bit about yourself, post a pic, and start meeting people.
My first dating site was an AOL chat room in 1997. You chat, exchange pics and meet people. Some people you dated, some you didn’t. It wasn’t just about hooking up, some people became good friends. I miss old sites like ,”Hot or Not” and “Military Singles”. While deployed to Iraq from 2004 to 2006, the previously mentioned sites were life saving. I met so many awesome people that ended ended up being great friends. These friends would send gifts and care packages to me while I was in Iraq. I remember some troops would go through divorce and break ups while deployed, however, it was these simple dating sites that helped them keep their sanity while boosting their morale . It gave them someone to vent to and talk to. Some even went on to get married. I met my wife on one of those old school sites.
My plan for Little Lovie is to be a fun site meant to generate conversations about things that you love. A Lovie can be anything that you love. A Lovie can be a wife, girlfriend, best friend, or you child.
I would like people to post pics in thier comment sections. My goal is to make this into a dating site. As time goes on, and my knowledge of website building grows, this site will evolve. Until then, I ask for your support with helping grow this site. Dating sites are my passion because they help people that my not have the time to go out and find love. Some people may have a type B personality and be altitude shy but the still want to find love. I want to make it easy and convenient to find love and friendship.
